Who We Are…

Our Mission

We are Los Angeles Educators and Parents United. Our organization’s mission is to unify LAUSD parents and Educators to fight against LAUSD mandates.

Nearly 500 Los Angeles Unified School District employees were fired for refusing to comply with a mandate that they get vaccinated against COVID-19, while 34,000 students have not yet been vaccinated as well. LAUSD has not retracted their Vaccine policy which puts the Educator's job and students' education in jeopardy. LAUSD is now creating six virtual academies to place unvaccinated students in independent students in the 2022/2023 school year. Students have already been affected during school shutdowns through distance learning. As of now, students are academically behind. Putting unvaccinated students in virtual learning is not what students need at this moment. We demand UTLA and LAUSD to put kids first and negotiate a better solution which would drop the mandates and let teachers teach and students learn.
